Teddy bears of all shapes and sizes are invited to join in the fun when Cullen Bullen Community Library hosts a Teddy Bears Picnic on Saturday 31 October 2026.
Held at Cullen Bullen Public School from 10.30am to 12 noon, the morning promises plenty of activities for children and families, with a wonderful opportunity for the local community to come together.
Young visitors are encouraged to bring along their favourite teddy bear and enjoy a morning of stories, activities and entertainment.
A highlight of the morning will be Kids Storytime with Mrs Kennedy at 11.20am, followed by the much-anticipated Teddy Bears Parade at 11.50am, where children can proudly show off their cuddly companions.
There will also be face painting available until noon for a gold coin donation, while the local Rural Fire Service will have a fire truck and volunteers on site.
Book lovers won’t miss out either, with a book stall offering a large selection of adult and children’s books for a gold coin donation. Every child purchasing a book will receive a complimentary packet of Tiny Teddy biscuits, limited to one per child.
Families will also have the opportunity to inspect the school’s classrooms, with staff available to answer questions.
A 100 Club fundraiser will offer numbers for $2 each, with a $100 prize up for grabs.
Families are welcome to bring along some morning snacks, spread out a picnic rug and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Everyone is welcome to join the fun!
