The Central West is set to be strongly represented at the Business NSW Western Region Business Awards, with an impressive list of finalists named ahead of the gala ceremony in Orange on Friday, May 15.
The annual awards recognise excellence across leadership, innovation and community impact, celebrating the businesses and individuals driving regional economies forward (reference: businessnsw.com.au).
Vicki Seccombe said this year’s finalists highlight the strength of the region.
“This year’s Western NSW Business Awards finalists showcase the incredible depth of business talent based right here in the Central West,” she said.
“I believe our business community is one of the strongest in regional NSW. It has been an incredibly challenging year for many businesses — and that challenge continues — making these awards a valuable opportunity to recognise and celebrate the ingenuity, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of our Central West business community.
“Opening and sustaining a business is an achievement in itself, particularly in the current environment. These finalists, however, have gone above and beyond, creating businesses our region can be truly proud of.”
She also noted the strong showing from across the region.
“This year, we are especially pleased to see a strong representation of finalists from Bathurst, Oberon and Lithgow across a wide range of industries. Each business and business leader has demonstrated innovation and sustainability, with a strong focus on their people and their local communities.”
