Beehive registration for Term 2 is on Tuesday, 28th April, with classes commencing the following Tuesday, 5th May.
Beehive has been operating for well over 30 years and offers a range of activities and support that help newcomers quickly build friendships and integrate into the Lithgow community. Beehive operates entirely on a volunteer basis, including the teachers.
Many talented people in our community have excelled at the annual show. Tracey Graves – Champion Coloured Fleece, Most Successful Vegetables event, Novice Spinner. Hidden Gems received positive feedback last year and is being offered this term again. Presenters will speak on Native Bees, Military Streets of Lithgow, Small Arms Museum, Van Gogh and Impressionists and lots more.
A High Tea is to be held on Monday, 25th May.
Bridge is another popular class, and learners and more advanced players will be made most welcome.
If you prefer to be more active and maybe improve your balance and mobility, Tai Chi is the class to join.
Classes are varied, so there will be something to suit everyone. Candlewicking, Spanish, art, card making, bush walks and spinning are only a small selection.
The Biggest Morning Tea is always a fundraiser for cancer in May.
