Retirees and those approaching retirement are being encouraged to connect with others and stay active through the Probus Club of Blayney.
Meeting monthly at the Blayney Community Centre, the club offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where members can enjoy guest speakers, social outings and group travel. It provides an opportunity for locals to build new friendships while staying engaged with the community.
The club continues to deliver a varied program of activities. Earlier this year, around 50 members and local residents travelled to Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains on a group trip that was well received and highlighted the strong social connections within the club.
In addition to larger trips, members regularly take part in day outings, informal lunches and social celebrations throughout the year. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 10am, followed by the option to continue conversations over lunch.
The Probus Club of Blayney is open to retired and semi-retired residents seeking new interests and connections.
Those interested in learning more or becoming a member can contact Club Secretary Greg on 0467 884 117 or visit the Probus South Pacific website for further details.
