Pink Cutting Event Delivers More Than $10,000 for Blayney Can Assist

Blayney Shire Can Assist has received an incredible boost, with the Southern Cross Cutting Horse Club donating more than $10,000 to help support local people following a cancer diagnosis.

The generous donation of $10,138.10 was raised as part of the Club’s Easter event through the Pink Cutting Event, a highly anticipated feature on the equestrian calendar that combines a passion for cutting horses with an important cause.

The Pink Cutting Event is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for women’s cancer, bringing together competitors, supporters and the wider equestrian community for an event with a very special purpose.

Blayney Shire Can Assist representatives were recently presented with an oversized cheque at the event, officially marking the Club’s outstanding fundraising achievement. Can Assist’s President and one of the organisation’s Events Coordinators were on hand to receive the donation from members of the Southern Cross Cutting Horse Club.

For Blayney Shire Can Assist, donations such as this make a genuine difference to local families at a time when they may be facing significant challenges.

The organisation provides confidential assistance to members of the local community following a cancer diagnosis, helping with some of the practical and financial pressures that can come with treatment.

Importantly, all money raised by Blayney Shire Can Assist stays within the Blayney Shire and is used to directly support local people.

The $10,138.10 donation is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when local clubs, volunteers and communities come together behind a cause.

Blayney Shire Can Assist has extended its sincere thanks to the Southern Cross Cutting Horse Club, along with everyone who supported the Pink Cutting Event and contributed to the fundraising total.

It is an amazing donation that will provide meaningful support where it is needed most and is another strong reminder of the generosity that exists throughout our regional communities.

Congratulations to the Southern Cross Cutting Horse Club on an outstanding event and an exceptional fundraising result for Blayney Shire Can Assist.
