SNAKE 300 FOR THE SEASON…

The season started in August and this marks 300 snakes relocated to date. Steph was called out to re-home this red bellied black snake that was spotted as the residents returned home.

Local snake catchers say myths continue to fuel unnecessary fear, with many people still claiming they’d rather “use a shovel” than call a professional. In reality, snakes are shy, rarely bite unless threatened, and play an important role controlling rodents and reducing disease. Steph says education and calm responses — not fear-driven reactions — are the safest way to protect both people and wildlife.

Wild Woofers Snake Catching, Pet Sitting & Dog Walking are available 24/7 so be sure to call 0477 997 361 if you come across a snake that needs a safe evacuation. And be sure to search Facebook and subscribe to show Steph & Aiden your support, this is how they stay in business!

Note: Red Bellied Black (Pseudechis porphyriacus) are dangerously venomous and should not be handled or provoked
