It was a double celebration on Tuesday 8th March for the Quota Lithgow Group! Not only were they acknowledging International Women’s Day but it was also the groups 70th birthday!
To mark this special occasion, women from some of the Lithgow region’s community groups came together at the Bushman’s Bistro at Marrangaroo for a lovely dinner and share in some celebration cake made by fellow Quotarian Margret Hickie.
Guests were then able to listen to a wonderful presentation from their guest speaker, the extraordinarily talented metalwork and sculpture artist, Harrie Fascher, who is based at The Foundations in Portland.
