The Lions Club of Mount Panorama turns 50

In 2026 the Lions Club of Mount Panorama celebrates its 50th anniversary. The first in a series of events planned to mark this milestone was a morning tea held at Bathurst RSL Club.

The Club was chartered in 1976 as the Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie and was re-badged the Lions Club of Mount Panorama in 2021.

Attendees at the morning tea included local elected representatives, Member for Calare Andrew Gee MP, State Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MLA and BRC Mayor Robert Taylor, as well as members from Bathurst Lions Club.

In a very special moment, Mount Panorama Lions members Roger Thomas and Dean Ward were presented with Life Membership of the Club.

Additionally, the Club made a significant donation to Bathurst Uniting Support Services (BUSS), which was accepted by BUSS Co-ordinator Julie Fry.

The Lions Club of Mount Panorama looks forward to many more years serving the local community.
