Stop and Smell the Daffodils

Blayney’s Spring Flower Show is blooming this Saturday!

Spring has officially arrived, and this Saturday there’s one very colourful reason to get out and enjoy it!

The Blayney Daffodil & Spring Flower Show returns on Saturday, 12 September, bringing a beautiful burst of colour, community spirit and good old-fashioned country show tradition to Blayney.

Presented by the Blayney Agricultural and Pastoral Association Inc, the annual show is a celebration of the very best of the season, with daffodils and spring flowers taking centre stage.

Whether you’re a keen gardener, a flower lover, looking for a little inspiration for your own backyard or simply want to enjoy a lovely community day out, this is one local event well worth putting on the calendar.

And you certainly don’t need to know your trumpet daffodil from your jonquil to appreciate the displays!

The show is another wonderful example of the volunteers and community organisations who continue to keep these much-loved local traditions going. Behind every display, entry and carefully organised section are many hours of preparation by the Blayney A&P Association committee and volunteers.

So this Saturday, make the time to pop in, wander through the displays and enjoy a little bit of Spring in full bloom. Better still, bring a friend, the family, Mum, Nan or your garden-loving neighbour and make an outing of it.

The Blayney Daffodil & Spring Flower Show is on Saturday, 12 September.

Come along, support a great local event and celebrate Spring — one beautiful bloom at a time.
