Local Businesses Encouraged To Explore Opportunities With Council

MEDIA RELEASE WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER 2026

Mid-Western Regional Council is opening the door for local businesses to learn how they can secure
work with Council at its upcoming Supplier Summit on Wednesday, 25 November

From trades and construction to goods and professional services, the Summit will help local businesses better understand Council’s procurement processes and how to take advantage of opportunities to deliver projects and services across the region.

Held at the Mudgee Team Training Village, the event will give businesses direct access to key Council staff, with practical advice on submission requirements, tender processes and what Council looks for when engaging suppliers.

The Summit aims to encourage greater local business participation in Council procurement, helping to keep more work and economic benefits within the Mid-Western Region.

To make it easier for businesses to attend, Council will offer two sessions on Wednesday, 25 November:

  • Morning session: 9.00am–12.00pm
  • Evening session: 4.00pm–7.00pm

Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to attend, including those that have not previously supplied goods or services to Council.

Registrations are essential and close Sunday, 15 November 2026.
