Members of the local business community gathered at Rydges Mount Panorama recently for the Bathurst Business Chamber’s May After Hours event, which also served as the official launch of the 2026 Bathurst Business Awards.
The event provided an opportunity for Chamber members and guests to connect with fellow business owners while learning more about the upcoming awards program and Chamber initiatives.
Business NSW Regional Director Vicki Seccombe addressed attendees, providing an overview of the awards application and judging process. Her presentation outlined what judges look for in submissions and highlighted the value of participating in a recognised business awards program.
Guests also heard from Karyn Taylor of Indigo Events and Marketing, who delivered a presentation on the Chamber’s membership platform, WAVE CRM. The session gave members a greater understanding of the system’s capabilities and how it supports communication and engagement across the Chamber network.
The Bathurst Business Awards continue to provide an important opportunity for businesses, organisations and individuals to showcase achievements, celebrate success and gain recognition at both a local and state level.
The event reflected the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to supporting business growth, professional development and collaboration across the Bathurst region.
The Chamber has also announced its next After Hours networking event, to be held on Wednesday, 17 June from 5.30 pm to 7 pm at Rydges Mount Panorama.
Open to both current and prospective members, the event will provide another opportunity for local business owners, professionals and community leaders to build connections, exchange ideas and learn more about the support and advocacy services available through the Chamber.
