Oberon Set to Host Next CWVV Networking Breakfast

Oberon’s local business and community members are being invited to connect, share ideas and start the day with purpose at the upcoming Central West Village Voice (CWVV) Networking Breakfast.

Set down for Friday 29th May at the Oberon Library, the event will open its doors at 7:45 am, welcoming attendees for a relaxed but meaningful morning of conversation, connection and collaboration.

The CWVV Networking Breakfast series has quickly established itself as a valuable platform across the Central West, bringing together business owners, community leaders and representatives from a wide range of industries. Designed with regional needs in mind, the sessions focus on strengthening local networks, encouraging collaboration and providing practical insights relevant to doing business in the Central West.

As with the sessions held in other LGA’s, Oberon guests will get to hear from Josh Gordon, Director for Regional Development Australia Central West, who has an amazing insight into doing business on all levels in the Central West. Next up will be Matt Armstrong, Regional Development & Engagement Manager for nbn Local Central West, discussing local connectivity developments, as we will wrap up with a representative from Arts OutWest – talking all things arts & culture in Oberon.

The Oberon event continues that focus, offering attendees the opportunity to meet others operating within the local economy, share experiences and explore opportunities to work together. Whether you are a long-established business, a new operator, part of a not-for-profit organisation or simply keen to be more connected within the community, the breakfast provides an accessible and welcoming environment to do so.

A light breakfast and cuppa will be available on arrival, followed by a short, structured session aimed at sparking discussion and delivering practical takeaways. Importantly, the morning also allows time for informal networking, giving attendees the chance to build relationships that extend beyond the event itself.

As with all CWVV events, the emphasis remains firmly on community. By creating regular opportunities for people to come together, the initiative continues to play a role in reducing isolation, strengthening local ties and supporting the growth of the region’s business landscape.

With limited spots available, early bookings are encouraged. Tickets can be secured online via Humanitix – https://events.humanitix.com/central-west-village-voice-networking-event_oberon. Cost is only $20, but if you represent a community or not-for-profit group, the cost is only $10.

For Oberon, it’s another opportunity to show the strength of its local business community—coming together, supporting one another, and investing in the future of the region.
