A Community Celebration: The 2024 Westfund Lithgow Show

The Lithgow Show Society warmly invites residents and visitors alike to the annual Lithgow Show, proudly sponsored by Major Sponsor Westfund, taking place from Friday, 15th March, to Sunday, 17th March 2024, at the Lithgow Showground. This year’s event promises a weekend filled with entertainment, competition, and community spirit, continuing its cherished tradition of celebrating the region’s agricultural heritage and local talent.

Kellie Evans of the Village Voice finally entered some of her slices in the baking competition… will they be good enough to win a prize?

Opening its gates on Friday afternoon, the show offers a fantastic mix of attractions suitable for all ages.

Sideshow Alley returns with its thrilling rides, games, and food stalls, providing endless fun for families and thrill-seekers. Meanwhile, the animal nursery offers a hands-on experience for the younger attendees, fostering a love and understanding of farm animals and rural life.

Art, craft, and cookery competitions present an opportunity for locals to display their skills, with categories open for both adults and children. These competitions not only highlight the creativity within our community but also offer a new generation of entrants to continue the traditions of agriculture and regional shows.

The Lithgow Show is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of our community’s heart and spirit. It’s an invitation to come together, share experiences, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
