The 2023 Bathurst Gardeners’ Club Spring Spectacular will be held on the last weekend of October, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October 2023. The Club has secured ten (10) beautiful gardens to open to the public including Milford:
Trees planted in the lawn give the house a feeling of enclosure and include Chanticleer and Manchurian pears, Chinese pistachio, Tulip, Silver Birch and many Maples to add seasonal colours of red, purple and bronze.
Hardy shrubs that tolerate cold winters and dry summers provide permanent structure in the garden beds, plus flowers and perennials.
The gardens range from suburban gardens to large country gardens and lots of gardens in between. There will be something for everyone who enjoys gardening or even meandering through beautiful gardens.
The members of the Bathurst Gardeners’ Club have been busy propagating plants for their ever-popular Monster Plant Stall. The Monster Plant stall will take place in the park adjacent to the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre on Saturday 28th October only between 8.30am until stock runs out.
Music will be provided by local musicians and students of the Mitchell Conservatorium in some gardens. Refreshments will also be available in some gardens. Some gardens will have a stall.
Tickets will be $25.00 per person and can be purchased online from mid-September. More information regarding the purchase of tickets will be available closer to the event.
