Entries are flowing in for the 5th Newbridge Art Show, which is coming up on the weekend of October 16-18. The show has grown every year since its inception and is an inclusive celebration of creative arts in the Central Tablelands.
For artists, Newbridge Art Show is excellent value, with entries only $20 and their fourth entry free. All artworks in the show are for sale, which means that art lovers and those who would like to start or build an art collection can secure their favourites.
Some of the beloved events from 2025 are returning, including the spectacular Opening Night concert at the iconic Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Buses will take patrons from the art show at Newbridge Showground to the church, and then back to their cars after the concert.
The hugely popular series of art workshops will this year be run on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16 at the Barry Community Hall with Canowindra artist David Isbester. This will be joined by a portrait photography workshop with tutor Martin Ryan on Saturday, October 18, and a beginners’ photography workshop with Carolyn Hide on Sunday, October 19. Numbers for all workshops are capped at 12, so there’s no time to waste.
