People with disability, along with their parents, carers and supporters, are invited to take part in two free, empowering community events being hosted by the Physical Disability Council of NSW in Bathurst.
The Disability Matters events will be held at Bathurst RSL, 114 Rankin Street, on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2, from 2 pm to 5 pm each day, with afternoon tea provided.
The interactive sessions are designed to build confidence, share practical skills and create new connections within the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in engaging workshops, meet one-on-one with experienced mentors and connect with others in a welcoming environment. A special social ‘Meet and Mingle’ lunch will also be held on Wednesday.
The events are free to attend; however, registrations are essential and close on Tuesday, August 24. Register online via the Bathurst Disability Matters Events Registration Form.

While attending, participants can also take part in Bathurst Regional Council’s Community Consultation sessions being held on the same days, with attendees having the chance to win a $50 gift card.
