Students at Oberon Public School are getting ready to skip their way to healthier hearts as the school kicks off its Jump Rope for Heart program!
Developed by the Heart Foundation, the popular initiative has been encouraging Australian schoolchildren to get active since 1983.
Starting this week, Oberon students will be learning new skipping skills, improving their fitness, coordination and confidence, while raising valuable funds for the Heart Foundation.
Assistant Principal Emma Graham shared the exciting news, with the program offering a wonderful opportunity to combine physical activity, teamwork and fundraising for a great cause.
Happy skipping, Oberon!
