2026 Bathurst Gardeners’ Club Spring Spectacular

The countdown is on! There’s not long to wait now for the Bathurst Gardeners’ Club (BGC) Spring Spectacular.

The BGC Spring Spectacular will be held over the weekend of 31 October and 1 November. Yes, it’s Halloween weekend, and we invite you to treat yourself to visit eight beautiful cold-climate gardens. And when it comes to tricks, take the opportunity to learn tips and tricks to take home!

Four of the gardens are of historical significance, and seven are new to the Spring Spectacular. Check out the Bathurst Gardeners’ Club Facebook page or website for garden descriptions.

The roar of racing cars on Mount Panorama is replaced by music in the gardens. The music program features soloists and groups from the Conservatorium of Music, as well as local bands. Check out the music program to help you plan your visits.

While the gardens are centre stage, there is much more to enjoy over the weekend. Take the opportunity to purchase a locally propagated plant at the monster plant stall on Saturday. The stall will be located in the car park adjacent to the Visitors Information Centre. The Dahlia Society of NSW/ACT stall is also returning this year. There will also be a bonsai display, raffle, garden stalls, cafes and pop-up catering.

When planning your day, remember that on Sunday morning you can visit not only three fabulous gardens on the way to, or just outside, O’Connell, but also an artisan market raising funds for restoration of the Rectory.

Tickets for all gardens cost $25 per person, and you are welcome to spread your visits over the weekend. Tickets can be purchased online through 123Tix or the BGC website (card only). Tickets purchased from the Visitors Information Centre before the weekend are card only. Tickets purchased from the Visitors Information Centre forecourt on Saturday are cash only. If you choose to visit only some of the gardens, the entry fee is $8 per person, per garden, payable at each garden (cash only). Children aged 16 and under are admitted free.

The BGC is very grateful to the wonderful garden owners, all the volunteers and our generous sponsors. Funds raised will be donated to local charities.
