Tea, Talks and a Touch of Whimsy with Greg Hyde

Art lovers and community members are being invited to enjoy an afternoon of creativity, conversation and delicious treats when T.Arts hosts its next Tea and Talks event on Saturday, June 13.

Running from 2.30 pm to 4 pm, the special afternoon will feature local artist Greg Hyde as guest speaker, giving visitors the chance to hear more about the inspiration behind his distinctive and whimsical works.

Known for art that blends humour, imagination and heartfelt storytelling, Greg describes his creations as both therapeutic and uplifting in a world that can often feel troubled.

“Greg’s happy or whimsical works are therapeutic for him in this troubled world,” organisers said. “He finds joy when others understand it and enjoy the ideas behind it.”

Greg said he feels fortunate to express himself creatively and remains grateful for the community’s ongoing support.

The event promises not only an engaging presentation about Greg’s art and life journey, but also a welcoming social afternoon complete with a delicious afternoon tea.

With strong interest already expected, organisers are encouraging people to book early to avoid missing out.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased either at the gallery or through the T.Arts website.

The Tea and Talks series continues to provide an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to connect with artists, hear their stories and support the region’s vibrant creative community.
