Strong response for Bathurst Business Awards

The 2026 Bathurst Business Awards have attracted an outstanding response, with 126 entries received across the award program and exceptional support for the People’s Choice categories.

A total of 112 nominations were received across the People’s Choice awards, representing a 20 per cent increase on last year’s nominations and highlighting the community’s enthusiasm for recognising outstanding local businesses.

Public voting opens on 20 July and closes on 3 August, before the independent judging process begins.

Bathurst Business Chamber President Vicki Wilson said the strong response reflected the quality and diversity of businesses across the region.

“It’s wonderful to see so many businesses entering and our community getting behind the awards. We encourage everyone to vote and then join us in celebrating the finalists and winners.”

The winners will be announced at the Bathurst Business Awards on Saturday, 5 September, with tickets on sale from the end of July. Set in the elegant surrounds of Bathurst Goldfields, the evening is open to everyone and promises a stylish celebration of local business success. It’s also a great opportunity for businesses that haven’t attended a Chamber event before to make new connections and discover what the Bathurst Business Chamber is all about.
