Lithgow City Council is inviting the community to once again be part of one of the region’s most anticipated events, with planning now underway for Lithgow Halloween 2026.
The much-loved Main Street celebration will return on Saturday, 31 October 2026, aligning with Halloween itself this year. The annual event continues to draw thousands of visitors to Lithgow, transforming the CBD into a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of costumes, creativity and community spirit.
Council has confirmed that the official event website has now been updated, providing a central hub for all event information. Residents, visitors, businesses and prospective participants are encouraged to visit www.lithgowhalloween.com for the latest updates and to share the link across their networks. The website will be progressively updated as planning advances in the lead-up to October.
To build excitement, a photo gallery from the 2025 event has also been published online, offering a chance for the community to reflect on last year’s celebration while looking ahead to an even bigger 2026 event.

As part of the Council’s commitment to delivering a high-quality event, a dedicated funding pool of $40,000 has been allocated to support selected performers and activation providers.
