Business, community and regional leaders came together at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) on Friday 27 February for the latest Central West Village Voice Leaders Networking Breakfast, an event focused on connection, collaboration and regional opportunity.
The morning welcomed a strong cross-section of the community, including Bathurst Mayor Robert Taylor and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole, as well as local business owners, community organisations and regional stakeholders.
Guests heard from a panel of speakers who shared insights into the opportunities shaping the Central West. Matt Armstrong from NBN outlined new products and services designed to support businesses and improve connectivity across regional communities. Josh Gordon from Regional Development Australia (RDA) Central West spoke about the importance of regional enterprise and the role local businesses play in strengthening the economy.
Arts and culture also featured strongly, with Maryanne Jaques from Arts OutWest highlighting the significant role creative industries, festivals and cultural events play in driving tourism, community identity and regional vibrancy.
Attendees enjoyed a relaxed morning with delightful breakfast snacks while taking the opportunity to meet new faces, exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships.
Central West Village Voice editor Kellie Evans said the breakfast was about more than networking.
“It’s about bringing people together who care about our region – building meaningful connections and friendships that ultimately help our communities and local businesses thrive.”
The CWVV Leaders Networking Breakfast series continues to grow, providing a welcoming space for conversation, collaboration and regional leadership.
