Media Release – 9 February 2026
The Bathurst Young Woman Ambassador Competition is delighted to recognise the outstanding contribution of our current Ambassador, Jasmyn Nankervis, and to wish her the very best of luck at the upcoming Zone Finals to be held in Eugowra on Saturday February 28, 2026.
The Young Woman Ambassador competition celebrates the importance of developing young women’s leadership, skills and community engagement across rural and regional New South Wales. The Bathurst Young Woman Ambassador Competition is part of the ACCIONA Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition, a prestigious state-wide program that has been empowering young women for over 60 years. More than just a title, this competition identifies and develops young female ambassadors who are confident, community-minded and capable of representing their regions, the agricultural show movement and the Sydney Royal Easter Show itself.
Bathurst’s current Ambassador, Jasmyn Nankervis, has embodied these values throughout her ambassadorship. A hardworking retail professional and dedicated university student at the International College of Management in Sydney, Jasmyn brings passion, resilience and a strong community focus to her role.
Jasmyn has clear career aspirations in events or sports team management, with a heartfelt goal of expanding motorsports training opportunities for regional communities. Her leadership journey includes active service as a Girl Guide and Guide Leader, serving as both Councillor and Youth Mayor on the Bathurst Regional Youth Council and valuable contributions to the Royal Bathurst Show and the Evans Art Council.
As her local ambassadorship draws to a close, the Bathurst Young Woman Ambassador Competition proudly wishes Jasmyn every success as she prepares to represent Bathurst at the Zone 6 Finals, a key stepping stone toward the State Final at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
