Planning is well underway for this year’s Bathurst Winter Festival with one of the region’s signature events to return during the school holidays from 2nd – 17th of July.
The Bathurst Winter Festival has been a much-loved fixture of the Bathurst events calendar since 2015, drawing thousands of visitors to the region to experience the delights of a traditional celebration of the winter season and to celebrate through activities, music and fantastic food and wine.
With the Bathurst Winter Festival back in full swing, Mayor of Bathurst Regional Council, Cr Robert Taylor, encourages families not to hesitate in booking their Winter getaways.
“Winter is a beautiful season to celebrate, and we do it well in Bathurst with clear, crisp nights and plenty of great food and entertainment for the whole family. It is the vibrancy, creativity, and history of the region on full display.
“We encourage visitors to embrace what the season has to offer and enjoy all the outdoor fun at the Winter Playground and get cosy indoors for hearty meals accompanied by live music.”
The Winter Festival has become one of the highly anticipated events in regional NSW after winning the Silver Award at the 2021 NSW Tourism Awards.
Tickets for the ice rink will go on sale at midday on 1 June and will be available online only at
