UnitingCare Lithgow is preparing to celebrate a very special milestone, marking 40 years of supporting the local community with a weekend of celebrations on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2026.
The celebrations will also include the official opening of the organisation’s Cook Street premises, marking an exciting new chapter for the much-loved community organisation.
Since 1986, UnitingCare Lithgow has played an important role in the local community, providing support, care and opportunities for connection, with a strong focus on people, purpose and building a stronger community.
The anniversary weekend will be an opportunity to reflect on four decades of service, acknowledge the dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters who have contributed along the way, and celebrate the organisation’s future.
The opening of the Cook Street facilities represents another positive step forward in continuing this important work.
