Get ready to dust off your dancing shoes as Cossie and the Disappointments bring their retro big band sound to Bathurst for three FREE performances on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November.
Hailing from Wollongong, the 20-piece community big band features talented musicians and a lead singer, delivering much-loved hits from the 1960s through to the 1990s.
With a playlist featuring classics including Mustang Sally, I Feel Good, Walking on Sunshine, Build Me Up Buttercup, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Old Time Rock and Roll, there will be plenty of opportunities to sing along and get those feet tapping.
While the musicians regularly perform professionally in smaller bands, they come together for special community performances and an annual social trip.
This year, they’ve chosen Bathurst as their destination, keen to enjoy the region’s restaurants, pubs, wineries and hospitality while sharing their love of live music.
The band will perform three FREE gigs across the weekend:
– Friday 13 November: Panthers Bathurst, 7.30pm–11pm.
– Saturday 14 November: Machattie Park Rotunda, 10am–12noon.
– Saturday 14 November: Vale Creek Winery, 438 Cow Flat Road, 2pm–4pm.
Whether you’re keen to dance or simply enjoy some great live music, everyone is welcome!
