Wallerawang–Lidsdale CWA’s Generosity Delivers New Theatre Trolleys for Lithgow Community Private Hospital

Local generosity making a lasting difference for local patients.

Lithgow Community Private Hospital has expressed its heartfelt thanks to the Wallerawang–Lidsdale Branch of the Country Women’s Association for an extraordinary donation of more than $41,000, which has provided three new theatre trolleys for the care of local patients.

For 27 years, the hospital’s existing trolleys have supported the care of local patients. With replacement parts becoming difficult to source, the new equipment will help the theatre team continue providing safe, high-quality surgical care close to home.

As a small not-for-profit medical centre and day surgery, the hospital provides more than 850 day surgery and ambulatory care procedures and over 11,000 specialist appointments each year. This generous gift will benefit patients and families from across the Lithgow community, reducing the need to travel away for care. The hospital extends its heartfelt appreciation to every CWA member and local supporter whose hard work and generosity made this remarkable contribution possible. It is a wonderful example of our community caring for its own.
