Come August 20–23, Bathurst will once again pulse to the timeless sound of the Fab Four as Beatlesfest Bathurst returns for its fab fourth year and its most ambitious yet.
Australia’s only dedicated Beatles festival has found a perfect home in the Central West, transforming venues around Keppel Street into a vibrant celebration of music, community and pure joy.
Across four days and more than ten locations—including Reckless Brewery, Keystone 1889, the Victoria Hotel, Bathurst RSL and the Bathurst Rail Museum—fans can enjoy around 50 events. Tribute acts such as the world’s only all-female Beatles tribute, The LadyBeatles from Adelaide, BackBeat from Melbourne and the return of The Rooftop Beatles.
This year also sees Murray Cook, the OG Red Wiggle, bring his band, Murray and the Movers to Beatlesfest, playing their original 60s style music with your favourite covers mixed in. Free offerings like Beatles Bingo, karaoke, trivia and markets sit alongside ticketed shows, ensuring something for every budget and age. Reckless Brewery will be a family friendly location with face-painting, feature local music students and have The Lolly Bug with their yellow Beetle.
This is more than nostalgia. Beatlesfest Bathurst expects to bring 5000 visitors from across NSW, filling local pubs and cafes, and showcases Bathurst’s welcoming spirit. In a region that thrives on events, it stands as proof that culture and community can drive real economic and social benefits. Whether you’re a lifelong devotee or simply want a fun weekend, mark your calendar. Six decades on, Beatlesfest shows that the music still matters. All you need is love—and a weekend in Bathurst.
