Connecting the Community at the 2026 Oberon Community Services Expo

Whether you’re new to town, looking for support, keen to volunteer or simply curious about what’s available in the local area, the 2026 Oberon Community Services Expo is shaping up to be a fantastic opportunity to discover the many organisations that help make our community such a welcoming place to live.

Hosted by Oberon Council, the popular expo returns on Thursday, 6 August, bringing together an impressive range of local services, community organisations and special interest groups under one roof. It’s a chance to meet the people behind the programs, ask questions, make new connections and perhaps even discover a club, service or volunteer opportunity you never knew existed.

The event is designed for people of all ages and stages of life, whether you’re seeking practical support, looking to become more involved in the community or simply wanting to see the incredible work being done across the Oberon region.

There’ll also be plenty of family-friendly fun throughout the afternoon, with free face painting, a free community barbecue and a kids’ scavenger hunt through the stalls, making it an enjoyable outing for the whole family. During the event, Oberon Council will also present its Section 356 Donation Certificates, recognising the valuable contribution of local organisations that continue to strengthen the community.

Community groups and service providers are encouraged to get involved by securing a stall and showcasing what they have to offer. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect directly with residents, promote services and build valuable networks with other local organisations. Stallholder registrations close on 1 August 2026.

The 2026 Oberon Community Services Expo will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, 6 August at the Oberon Library & Community Centre, 74A Dart Street, Oberon.

For stallholder enquiries or further information, contact Oberon Council’s Community Services team on (02) 6329 8156 or email community@oberon.nsw.gov.au.

Be sure to stop by and say hello to us, Kellie and Karen, at the Central West Village Voice stand. We’d love to catch up with readers, hear about the wonderful things happening in your organisation or community group, and chat about upcoming events, milestones and stories from across the Oberon region. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or meeting us for the first time, we’d love to see you there.

Whether you’re looking to lend a hand, find a helping hand, or simply celebrate the wonderful community spirit that makes Oberon so special, this is one event well worth adding to the calendar.
