Carillon Business Awards Set to Celebrate Bathurst’s Best

Preparations are well underway for the 2026 Carillon Business Awards, electrified by Kelso Electrical, with judging now in full swing and excitement continuing to build ahead of one of Bathurst’s most anticipated business events.

This year’s awards have attracted an outstanding response, with entries increasing by an impressive 20 per cent. The growth reflects the strength, resilience and innovation of businesses across the region and showcases the confidence of a business community that continues to invest, adapt and thrive.

While the judging process is now underway, the community still has an important role to play. Voting is open for the People’s Choice Awards until Monday, 3 August, giving locals the opportunity to recognise the businesses they believe consistently deliver exceptional service and make a positive contribution to the Bathurst community. The celebrations will culminate at the Carillon Business Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday, 5 September, at the beautiful Bathurst Goldfields. The evening is much more than an awards presentation, bringing together businesses of all sizes, community leaders, sponsors and supporters to celebrate the achievements of the people helping drive the region forward.

Bathurst Business Chamber President Vicki Wilson said the Gala Dinner is a highlight of the local business calendar and encouraged everyone to be part of the celebration.

“The Carillon Business Awards night is a wonderful celebration for the Bathurst business community,” Ms Wilson said. “We are strongly encouraging everyone to grab a ticket and join us for a terrific night at a beautiful venue with great food, drinks and entertainment.”

Vicki also said the Chamber is particularly keen to welcome first-time attendees. “We’re really keen to see anyone who hasn’t been to a Chamber event before, anyone new in business, new in town or anyone simply looking for a great night out. It’s really open to everyone.”

Tickets go on sale next week, with Chamber Members able to attend for $125, non-members and guests $135, while tables of ten are available for $1,250. The link will be available on the Chamber’s website – bathurstbusiness.com.au.

The Bathurst Business Chamber has also acknowledged the incredible support of the businesses and organisations that make the awards possible. Special thanks go to naming rights sponsor Kelso Electrical, together with Enid’s Emporium, The Western Advocate, McDonald’s Garton Enterprises, Airworx, The Central West Village Voice Newspaper, SOS Phone Repairs, Kenny Springs, Bathurst RSL, GT Digital, Tile City, Hamlet & Field, Oxygen Recruitment, Town & Country Rural Supplies, 2BS/B-Rock FM, Bathurst Regional Council, Panorama Financial, Inland Digital, Acumen, Raine & Horne, Pro Wash, Bathurst Goldfields and Sched Developments.

For the second consecutive year, raffle tickets will also be available to purchase online ahead of the Gala Dinner, as well as on the night, with the Chamber also extending its appreciation to the many generous local businesses donating raffle and auction prizes. Together, their support ensures the Carillon Business Awards continue to celebrate the people, businesses and organisations helping make Bathurst one of regional Australia’s strongest and most vibrant business communities.
