Not like any other Swap Meeting, it is becoming a much-anticipated Motor Enthusiast event. Patrons travel from local centres, regional and interstate to attend.
2026 sees this Event being held on Sunday 23rd August. Previously operated from the Bathurst Showground for many years. Over time, the busy Highway presented a difficult situation requiring Traffic Control and many other obstacles.
The new location is at Mt Panorama. Entry from Mountain Straight, turn left into the camping area well behind the Pits. Modern amenities with ample toilet facilities, sealed walkways which is rare at most Swap Meetings, large sites for sellers to set up stalls which are free of charge or limited Indoor sites $30. Plenty of parking areas. $5.00 CASH entry per person, no EFPOS available, children under 16 Free.
A strong dedicated Committee ensures that the B.H.C.C. Swap Meeting will be the best.
A highly successful Show & Shine is included in the morning program, in an asphalt area adjacent to the Swap Meet Site. Categories include Best Custom/ Modified, Best Truck, Best Motorcycles, Historic 20-50s, Classic 50-80s, Modern 80s. A new Category for BUTE UTES has been introduced this year. A rare opportunity for proud Ute owners to put their machines on Show for great prizes.
There will be elite trophies and vouchers for all categories, and the Grand Champion receives one night’s deluxe accommodation & breakfast for two at Rydges, valued around $300-$330 plus vouchers. Judging will take place at 11.00 am and presentations at midday. Show & Shine Entrants pay an additional $5.00, and all will go into the draw for three $100 bonus vouchers.
There will be Local Food Vans and a variety of eats, coffee, and ice creams.
The Bathurst Historical Car Club Swap Meeting is proud to support local Charities. Camping is available Saturday night for Sellers for $25 with power.

Two other Events, BEATLE FEST will return to Bathurst from Thursday to Sunday in town, free entry for music & dancing at Reckless Brewing lower Piper Street. The annual F.P.V. Ford Performance Vehicles Charity Cruise Number 7 Saturday 22nd August leaves Sydney to Bathurst and then onto Mt. Panorama for their own Show & Shine with a spectacular range of Fords from all Eras. This year F.P.V. are raising funds for The Starlight Foundation. ( For Sick Kids ) Some participants of the F.P.V. are staying the night and will attend the B.H.C.C. Swap Meeting and Show and Shine on Sunday.
