Bathurst is set for a lively weekend as the 46th NSW State Square & Round Dance Convention comes to town from 25–27 September at the Bathurst Panthers Club.
Dancers from across NSW and interstate will gather in Bathurst for three days of upbeat music, movement, and strong community connection. The convention highlights the social, welcoming nature of square and round dancing — an activity that continues to bring people together across the Central West and beyond.
Convenor Wendy Alexander says Bathurst offers the ideal setting. “We’re thrilled to bring dancers to Bathurst. It’s always a joyful weekend with great company, great music, and plenty of colour.”
Local residents and visitors are encouraged to drop in as spectators — free of charge — and enjoy the rhythm, energy, and friendly atmosphere.
