Ice Cream Treat Rewards Outstanding Attendance

Students at Oberon Public School were all smiles this week as they came together to celebrate a whole-school attendance acknowledgement, recognising the importance of turning up and making the most of every school day.

All students at Oberon Public School were invited to take part in the celebration, enjoying an ice cream cone during break time as the school recognised the collective effort to encourage and support strong attendance across the entire student body.

The initiative highlights the school’s goal of encouraging students to attend school at least 90 per cent of the time, reinforcing the positive impact regular attendance has on learning, friendships and overall wellbeing.

School mascot Opsie Owl joined in celebrating the occasion, reminding students that every day at school is an opportunity to learn something new, build confidence and create lasting memories.

Congratulations to all Oberon Public students who achieved this fantastic milestone. Their commitment and consistency are something to be proud of, and the celebration was a well-deserved recognition of their hard work throughout the term.
