Tallwood to Host Biggest Morning Tea Fundraiser

The community is being invited to come together for a good cause later this month, with Tallwood Hall set to host a Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser in support of the Cancer Council Australia.

Tallwood’s Biggest Morning Tea will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 2 pm at Tallwood Hall on Warburtons Lane, Tallwood, near Forest Reefs.

Guests can look forward to an afternoon of community spirit, fundraising and entertainment, with lucky door prizes, raffles, an auction and a trading table all planned as part of the event. Entry is $15 per person, payable in cash on the day.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is one of the country’s largest community fundraising events, with thousands of people across Australia hosting gatherings throughout May and June to raise money for cancer research, support services and prevention programs. Funds raised help support people impacted by cancer and contribute to life-saving research and patient support initiatives.

Cancer Council estimates that almost one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, making community fundraisers like these an important part of ongoing support and awareness efforts.

The Tallwood event is expected to provide a relaxed and welcoming afternoon for locals and visitors alike, while helping raise valuable funds for a cause that touches many families across regional communities.

Organisers are encouraging people to come along, enjoy a cuppa, and support the fundraiser, with all welcome.

For those looking for a community afternoon close to home while supporting an important cause, Tallwood’s Biggest Morning Tea is shaping up to be a worthwhile local event.
