Women across the Central West are being encouraged to come together in Oberon next month for a new networking event designed to foster genuine connection and collaboration.
The Central West Inspired Women program will host “Connected Conversations” at RedGround Australia on Thursday, 7 May, from 6 pm to 8 pm, with tickets now open for online purchase.
Building on the success of previous Speed Networking events, the refreshed format will begin with a panel discussion featuring local businesswomen, followed by guided small-group conversations centred on collaboration and connection within the region.
The Oberon panel includes Jill O’Grady of RedGround Australia, Jacqui McGrath, founder of Oberon Tallow and Pantry Co, and Amanda Bolton, owner of The Milbrey Kitchen and Store. Each brings a unique perspective on building and sustaining businesses in a regional setting.
Organisers say the event has been designed to move beyond traditional networking, creating space for more meaningful dialogue and shared experiences. The focus will be on strengthening connections not only between businesses but also within the broader community, with an emphasis on lifting each other up.
The evening will also provide an opportunity for women at all stages of their business careers, or those simply looking to connect, to engage in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Catering will be provided by RedGround Australia, with beverages available for purchase on the night.
The event is free to attend, registrations are essential due to limited capacity. Bookings can be made via Humanitix https://events.humanitix.com/connected-conversations-in-oberon
Connected Conversations is proudly supported by CommBank, Regional Development Australia Central West and Oberon Council, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting women in business across the region.
