Oberon is preparing to put on one of its most spectacular seasonal displays, with the Oberon Autumn Colour Garden Showcase returning across the weekend of Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April 2026.
Presented by the Oberon and District Garden Club, the two-day showcase invites visitors to step inside some of the region’s most beautiful high country gardens, each highlighting the rich colours and textures that define autumn in the Oberon hills. With four distinct seasons shaping the landscape, autumn is when Oberon truly comes alive, and this event offers a rare opportunity to experience it up close.
This year’s program will feature a mix of much-loved returning gardens alongside new showcase properties, with eight locations expected to open their gates. From sprawling country estates to charming in-town gardens, the showcase promises something for every visitor, whether you’re a passionate gardener or simply looking for a scenic day out.
Beyond the gardens themselves, visitors can enjoy a range of local offerings along the way. Bellenden on Duckmaloi Road will once again host Heather’s Kitchen along with stallholders from the Oberon Craft Centre, while Beyond Avalon will offer Devonshire teas and plant sales, making it easy to linger a little longer and soak up the atmosphere.
Tickets are $25 and provide access to all gardens, with proceeds supporting the Oberon Hospital Auxiliary.
