During International Women’s Week 2026, Quota Lithgow will proudly celebrate the strength, resilience and achievements of women across the Lithgow region, recognising the many ways women contribute to community life every day.
International Women’s Day is a moment to acknowledge the vital roles women play — as leaders, carers, volunteers, professionals and advocates — while also reflecting on progress toward equality, inclusion and opportunity. It is a time to recognise both the visible achievements and the quieter acts of service that so often shape strong communities.
Quota Lithgow will use this occasion to honour local women who inspire change, give generously of their time and work tirelessly behind the scenes. From community groups and sporting clubs to businesses, schools and families, women continue to play a central role in building a connected and thriving Lithgow region.
As part of the celebrations, Quota Lithgow will host an International Women’s Day Dinner and warmly invites the community to attend an evening of connection, reflection and celebration.
Guest speaker Kellie Evans will present Her Journey — a personal and inspiring reflection on strength, resilience and growth. Kellie is the owner and editor of the Central West Village Voice and a passionate advocate for regional communities, known for championing positive local stories and supporting small businesses across the Central West.
The dinner will be held on Tuesday 3 March 2026 at the Black Gold Motel, Wallerawang, commencing at 6.00pm. Tickets are $55 per person.
