Oberon Show Returns for a Big Day of Community Celebration

The Oberon Show is set to return on Saturday 14 February 2026, bringing a full day of agricultural showcases, family entertainment and community connection to the Oberon Showground.

A long-standing highlight of the local calendar, the Show continues to celebrate the region’s proud rural heritage while providing a welcoming space for locals and visitors to come together. From the moment gates open at 9am, the grounds will be alive with competition, colour and activity.

Livestock exhibitions, pavilion displays and produce competitions remain at the heart of the event, showcasing the skill, dedication and quality of local producers and exhibitors. These traditional elements sit alongside modern show favourites, offering a balance of heritage and entertainment that continues to draw strong crowds each year.

Families can look forward to a wide range of attractions throughout the day, including amusement rides, sideshow alley, novelty events and children’s activities. Food stalls and local vendors will once again line the grounds, offering plenty of options to enjoy while soaking up the show atmosphere.

As the afternoon rolls into evening, entertainment and fireworks are expected to provide a popular finale, giving show-goers the opportunity to round out the day with a relaxed and festive community celebration.

The event is proudly delivered by the Oberon Show Society Inc, supported by volunteers, sponsors and community groups whose efforts ensure the Show continues to thrive. Their contribution plays a vital role in maintaining one of the region’s most important annual gatherings.

This year, the Central West Village Voice will also be hosting its own stand in the Pavilion, offering visitors the opportunity to drop in, say hello and chat with the team about Oberon, the wider Central West region and the many community stories, events and initiatives happening across our towns. We encourage locals, business owners, community groups and readers to come and find us throughout the day.

More than just an agricultural show, the Oberon Show has become a social anchor for the district — a place where neighbours reconnect, families create lasting memories and visitors experience the unique charm of a regional NSW community event.

Tickets will be available at the gate and online, making it easy for everyone to be part of the day. With a strong program of activities, a friendly atmosphere and plenty to see and do, the Oberon Show is shaping up to be another standout event on the Central West calendar.

Mark Saturday 14 February in your diary and head to the Oberon Showground to enjoy a classic country show experience and support one of Oberon’s most valued community traditions.
