The Beatles are coming back to the Central West, and this year’s celebration is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
Beatles Fest Bathurst will return for its fourth year from Thursday, 20 August to Sunday, 23 August 2026, transforming the city into a four-day tribute to the Fab Four.
Festival co-director Wade Jackson said the community is buzzing with excitement and this year’s event is set to be “absolutely huge”.
“We’ve got some fantastic interstate acts joining us, including Backbeat (Melbourne) and The Lady Beatles (Adelaide),” Jackson said.
“Plus, we’re thrilled to welcome The OG Red Wiggle, Murray Cook, who is bringing his super slick soul and rock ‘n’ roll act Murray and the Movers to the Family Hotel for a special performance.”
Jackson said ticket sales have already been extremely strong, with many expecting the popular event to sell out quickly.
As in previous years, the festival will feature a packed program of ticketed headline shows alongside heaps of free events and family-friendly activities across the weekend.
From street performances and sing-alongs to markets, trivia, and pop-up tributes, organisers say there will be something for Beatles fans of all ages — making it a true “all weekend, all fab” celebration.
The Bathurst community has once again rallied behind the festival, with local venues, businesses, and volunteers coming together to help deliver what has become one of the region’s most anticipated annual events.
