Laughter, Connection and Community to Mark International Women’s Day in Bathurst

Women from across the Central West are being invited to come together this March for an evening of laughter, connection and celebration, with the International Women’s Day Comedy Night offering a shared space to recognise, support and uplift women throughout the region.

We’re proud to be co-hosting this fantastic night alongside Central West Women’s Health Centre, Central West Comedy and Bathurst Women’s Network, marking International Women’s Day in a way that is both uplifting and meaningful for women across the region.

Taking to the stage are two of Australia’s most popular comedians, Mandy Nolan and Ellen Briggs. Renowned for their sharp observations, relatable storytelling and fearless humour, the pair will deliver a performance that blends big laughs with thoughtful moments, offering audiences an entertaining and empowering experience.

The event will be held on Thursday 5 March at Keystone 1889, located at 99 Keppel Street, Bathurst, with doors opening at 5.30pm. Guests will enjoy light refreshments on arrival before settling in for a night that promises connection, entertainment and community spirit.

More than just a comedy show, the International Women’s Day Comedy Night also supports the ongoing work of the Central West Women’s Health Centre, helping to raise awareness and vital funds for services that support women and families throughout the Central West.

Tickets are priced at $50 per person and include light refreshments, making it an accessible and affordable way to enjoy a quality night out while backing an important local cause. Organisers are encouraging groups of friends, colleagues and community members to come along together and make the most of this special evening.

With International Women’s Day providing an opportunity to reflect on progress, equality and shared experiences, this event offers a positive and inclusive way for women across the region to come together and celebrate.

Tickets are available now via the event’s Facebook page, with early bookings recommended as strong interest is already being shown.
