Lithgow Community Private Specialist Medical Centre is pleased to announce a new partnership with Advara HeartCare to expand local access to specialised heart care services for the residents of Lithgow and surrounding communities.
Through this collaboration, patients will now have access to a range of cardiac diagnostic and consultative services, including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, Holter monitoring and appointments with Cardiologist Dr Umesh Sinnya, all available locally at Lithgow Community Private Specialist Medical Centre
This initiative comes at a meaningful time for the community as Dr England, the long-serving cardiologist, has retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service to Lithgow and the region.
The partnership with Advara HeartCare ensures that the high standard of cardiac care will continue — and grow — right here in Lithgow.

Cardiology services through this partnership will begin on Monday 27th of October 2025 as we welcome Dr Sinnya for his first week of consulting. Patients can schedule appointments or learn more by contacting Lithgow Community Private Hospital at 0263 2550 for weekly diagnostic services or Advara HeartCare at 0287 468400 for monthly appointments with Dr Sinnya.
People needing these services should consult their GP for a referral. You don’t have to have private health insurance with the services either being fully or partially covered under Medicare, as long as you have a referral.
