The village of Newbridge is returning in 2023 with an even bigger Spring into Art at Newbridge festival on October 20-22.
The second Back Creek Art Show, with prizemoney totalling over $4000, includes all last year’s popular classes plus some exciting new ones. The original classes, including Eutick Memorial Still Life Art , Open Art, Open Photography, Back Creek Newbridge Award (in any medium) and People’s Choice, are joined by:
- Photography Still Life
- Blayney Shire Council $1000 Acquisitive Award
- Photography Creative
The photography creative class allows extended digital manipulation of an original image and recognises that creativity in photography is constantly evolving.
Entries for all sections open on August 1 and close on October 8. Entry forms can be found at www.newbridgensw.com.au. The Art Show opening night is Friday, October 20.
Alongside the art show will be an artisan and makers market at the Showground on both Saturday October 21, and Sunday October 22. Expressions of interest from stallholders are welcome, also via www.newbridgensw.com.au
Live music by DC3 and the High Flyers will perform in one of the gardens on Saturday afternoon.
