Perthville Development Group have been successful in securing a grant from the NSW Government to install a new fitness station at Perthville’s Village Square.
The new equipment will be a welcomed addition to the village said Member for Bathurst Paul Toole.
“I am pleased to deliver $146,450 to the Perthville Development Group for this project,” Mr Toole said.
“Perthville is a growing area of the Bathurst region, and the additional facilities will make this an even better place to live.”
The funding will provide 13 exercise stations complete with soft flooring and pathways to access the stations.
Member for Perthville Development group John Trollor said the funding is invaluable to the community.
“We have been waiting for this for a long time and I can guarantee it will be much used and much loved equipment,” Mr Trollor said.
“We are very grateful for the NSW Government and Paul Toole’s support.”
