Plenty Happening at Kandos Community Club!

From bingo and trivia to bowls, raffles and a little 80s nostalgia, there is plenty happening at the Kandos Returned Services Community Club as the year draws to a close, with even more fun planned for 2027.

The club continues to offer a welcoming place for locals to catch up, enjoy some friendly competition and support their community, with a busy calendar of regular activities and special events.

One of the biggest highlights on the calendar is the Christmas Raffle on Saturday 12 December, with over $4,000 in prizes up for grabs.

The major prize is a Hydro Majestic getaway for two, including an overnight stay in a Heritage Valley View Room, breakfast and a three-course dinner. Tickets are just $5 each and are available now from the club bar, with the draw commencing at 7pm. Remember, you must be present to win!

There are also some exciting changes coming to Saturday nights. From Saturday 5 December, the club will introduce its Monthly Monster Raffle, held on the first Saturday of each month, featuring $1,000 in prizes including meat trays, grocery bags, bar vouchers and pizza vouchers.

Tickets go on sale at 6pm, with the first draw at 7pm, followed by the Members Draw and Schooner Draw. Regular 21 Cards will continue on other Saturday evenings.

For those who love a little friendly competition, Thursday Bingo remains a favourite, with books available from 5pm and eyes down at 6pm.

Trivia Night, hosted by Matt, takes place on the first Friday of each month from 6pm, while Twilight Bowls on the second Friday kicks off at 4pm, with a BBQ available. The third Friday brings the Euchre Championship, starting at 2pm.

And for something a little different, mark Saturday 28 November in the diary for 80s Night! Dig out the leg warmers, big hair and favourite retro outfits for a fun evening following the raffles.

Looking ahead to January 2027, the club is introducing Plant Bingo, held on the last Sunday of each month from 4pm. For $10 per book, participants can enjoy 20 games, with winners choosing their own plants.

Donations of plants, cuttings and potted plants are also welcome to help get this new activity growing!

Whether you’re a regular visitor or haven’t dropped in for a while, Kandos Community Club would love to see you.

Located at 20 Dangar Street, Kandos, the club is a great place to enjoy some local hospitality, support community activities and catch up with friends.
