It was a great night of racing for the season opener at Cullen Bullen Raceway on Saturday 26th September!
A big crowd in attendance witnessed pedal to the metal racing. The Fast 4’s put on a massive night of close highspeed racing with 19 nominees, 6 heats and a 27 Lap feature race won by Portland 15 Stuart Bennett in his immaculate and superfast blue Honda Civic. Second place was taken by current junior club champion and now full time senior racer Portland 4 Levi Payne. Third place-getter in Narrabri 97 was Jackson Gordon.
Jackson was one of the many drivers who travelled from Northwest NSW to Cullen Bullen to attend Prostate Cancer Round in support of Portland 27 driver John Spicer.
Local star Portland 29 Jaiden Healey won the Super Production feature from a fast-finishing Mat Hutchinson in P19 with Goulburn driver and NSW 1 Jacob Croker coming home third after starting near the back of the field due to car damage incurred in a heat race incident.
Street Stocker current club champion Jake Clarke continued his winning form from last year to finish first, 4 seconds clear from Newcastle 54 Josh Hollier with Parramatta 69 Cooper Dunn coming third.
Goulburn drivers Zac Eldridge and Hunter Medway finished 1st & 2nd in the junior feature with another out of towner Sophie Partridge from Gunnedah in 3rd.
Fender Benders put on a great show! But with so much bash and crash officials couldn’t decide the winner.
