Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Society (affectionately know as BRAGS) is excited and grateful for the support from prominent Australian artists for the Society’s Primavera Gala fundraising event on Saturday 12 September at BoxGrove featuring a live art auction by auctioneer from Elders Ems Mooney Real Estate.
The auction features diversity of artwork and experiences by the following local, national, and internationally known, Australian artists who confirmed their participation in the art auction: Jock Alexander, Lino Alvarez, Harrie Fasher, Steve Hogan, Greg Hyde, Wiradyuri artist Jessica Leffley, Graham Lupp, Euan MacLeod, Reg Mombassa, Amanda Penrose-Hart, Rosemary Valadon, and Peter Wilson.
A preview of the auction artworks and raffle prizes will be exhibited for three days only at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery on Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th September, and Friday 11th September during Gallery opening hours.
Members of the community are invited to seize this rare opportunity to see works from such a prestigious group of Australian artists all in one place for free in the cultural heart of our region.
BRAGS acknowledges the generous support of Pigments & Palettes Bathurst for framing some of the artworks, and local businesses including Bootleg Dining, El Guapo Cantina, Littlebourne Guest House, Old Milltown Police Station B&B, Total Tools, and private donors too numerous to mention who provided prizes for our raffle.
