Ready to meet friendly faces, try something new and feel more at home in Lithgow? Beehive is buzzing this term again with welcoming classes, activities and outings for newcomers keen to connect, learn and enjoy community life.
Staying socially connected, keeping the mind active and moving the body are all great ways to support healthy ageing, and Beehive brings these opportunities together in a friendly, safe and encouraging setting.
Term 2 registration is on Tuesday, 21st July, with classes starting the following Tuesday, 28th July. Now in its fourth decade, Beehive continues to flourish through the generous support of its volunteers, including every teacher.
There is plenty to spark curiosity this term, from lively talks and creative hands-on classes to gentle movement, local adventures and chances to discover interests you may not have tried before.
Join Tuesday favourites, such as bridge, poetry, wool embroidery and patchwork, or enjoy Tai Chi to build balance, confidence and mobility. Those who love getting out and about can join Ramblers on Fridays or the Wednesday 250 Club as it visits fascinating places across Sydney and surrounding areas.
Pop in, pick up a brochure and find something that makes you want to come back each week. For details, call 6351 3134 or visit 43 Bridge Street.
