The Bathurst Showgrounds Winter Festival is heading into its final weekend, and there is still plenty of time to get amongst the winter fun before the gates close for 2026.
The Festival’s closing Brew & Bite Weekend will take over the Bathurst Showground on Friday 17 July from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday 18 July from 11am to 9pm, bringing together great food, local drinks, live entertainment and all the fun of the Festival for one last big weekend.
If you have been meaning to visit, this is your chance.
Food trucks will be serving up plenty of delicious options, while breweries and distilleries will be pouring a range of drinks perfect for a winter afternoon or evening with friends.
Add live entertainment to the mix and Brew & Bite is the perfect excuse to grab your family, round up a group of friends and make a night of it.
Of course, the Bathurst Showgrounds Winter Festival favourites will also be in full swing. Hit the ice skating rink, enjoy the amusement rides and soak up the atmosphere that has made the Showground a winter destination throughout the school holidays.
Whether you are planning a family day out, catching up with friends over a drink or simply looking for something different to do this weekend, there is plenty happening across the Festival site.
The closing Brew & Bite Weekend is proudly supported by Blooms the Chemist and Village Bakehouse, helping bring another great weekend of entertainment to the Bathurst community.
As the Festival draws to a close, it is also an opportunity to acknowledge the many sponsors, local businesses, stallholders, entertainers and volunteers who have helped bring this wonderful winter event to the region. Events of this scale simply do not happen without an enormous amount of work behind the scenes, along with the support of businesses and community members willing to get behind a great idea.
Their combined efforts have created two weeks of skating, rides, food, entertainment and winter fun for locals and visitors alike.
Now, there is one final weekend to enjoy it.
So, rug up, bring your appetite and head to the Bathurst Showground for one last winter weekend.
Great food. Local drinks. Live music. Winter memories.
