Bathurst locals are being invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment, laughter and community spirit when “Star for a Night” takes to the stage at Keystone 1889 on Saturday, June 27.
Far from an ordinary talent show, Star for a Night is a tribute-style spectacular where everyday people transform into music legends and entertainers for one unforgettable night. The charity fundraiser will feature local community members showcasing their talents before a live audience, competing for the title of the most entertaining act of the evening.
Whether singing, dancing, acting, juggling or simply bringing plenty of personality to the stage, contestants will have the opportunity to shine while supporting a worthy cause.
Adding to the excitement is a high-profile judging panel featuring Bathurst identity Moey Ayoubi, well known as one of the city’s most recognisable business owners and pop culture enthusiasts; AFI Award-winning actor, television personality and radio host Damien Demontemas; and wildlife rescuer and snake-catching expert Stefanie Lesser.
Organisers say the event promises a fun-filled night celebrating local talent while bringing the community together in support of charity.
The event will be held at Keystone 1889, 99 Keppel Street, Bathurst. Doors open at 6 pm, with the kitchen operating from 6 pm for those wishing to enjoy a meal before the show begins at 7.30 pm.
Tickets are priced at $29 for individual bookings, while groups of four or more can attend for $20 per person.
With a mix of entertainment, friendly competition and community spirit, the only question remaining is who will impress the judges and be crowned Bathurst’s Star for a Night.
