Millthorpe Fire Fair Returns with a Spark This August

One of the Central West’s most anticipated winter events is set to return this August, with the Millthorpe Fire Fair promising an evening filled with entertainment, food, family fun and plenty of winter magic.

The Millthorpe Fire Fair will be held on Friday, August 7, from 5 pm to 9 pm, transforming the historic village into a vibrant celebration of all things winter.

Visitors can look forward to a fantastic line-up of live music, delicious food trucks, local cellar doors, unique retail stalls and a dedicated kids’ zone, ensuring there is something for every member of the family to enjoy.

Adding to the winter atmosphere will be one of the event’s most popular attractions – snow. Combined with glowing fires, great food and a lively community atmosphere, the Fire Fair offers the perfect excuse to rug up and enjoy a memorable evening out with family and friends.

Organisers say the event is all about bringing people together to celebrate the cooler months while showcasing the best of Millthorpe and the surrounding region. Whether you’re sampling local produce, browsing market stalls, enjoying a glass of local wine or simply soaking up the festive atmosphere, the Fire Fair promises plenty of fun, laughter and good times.

Early bird tickets are now available until June 30, with adults $12, children aged five and over $3, and family tickets (two adults and two children) $30.

With strong support from locals and visitors alike in previous years, organisers are encouraging people to secure their tickets early and make a night of it.

For those looking for a unique winter experience in the Central West, the Millthorpe Fire Fair is shaping up to be a date worth marking on the calendar.
